Yup
It has been a while since I have used this ole' blog and today I have some free time so I thought I might as well post something. I have been meaning to post many entries on here because I have some really good ideas/topics to share that I have learned about. Right now I am at the University of Louisville IT center on one of their many computers. I must say, they really need to secure these computers better than they do. They allow you to install anything on here. When I got onto the computer there was a copy of Morpheus, the really old Fast track P2P program similar to Kazaa.(identical really) Anyway, I noticed my Internet seemed pretty slow so I opened up Morpheus and low and behold I found the problem. Someone had downloaded a bunch of porn and my computer was uploading it to the rest of Morpheus. That kind of shit just amazes me that you would go to a computer lab and download porn. I mean, seriously don't you have your own computer at home? CAN YOU SERIOUSLY NOT WAIT?! WHY!??!? Well anyways its things like that that really make me question the administrators in charge of this place. I just tried every way to get into Control Panel, and at least they disabled that. I tried:
1. Windows + R "Control Panel"
2. Typing Control Panel in IE's Address bar
I am sure there are more ways but it seems that the administrators have disabled it. I really just wanted to get into the system menu to see what kind of processor/ram is in here. I shall download CPU-Z and see what is in here. It is a 2.4 GHZ P4 with 512mb of pc2100. The odd thing is that one stick is a Samsung and the other one is Nanya Technology. It appears that they might have upgraded some of these workstations around here, as it would seem unlikely that IBM would have used two different brands of RAM.
But yeah this is turning into a useless rant. I shall aquire some tasty foods and then I shall focus on a topic that I have been meaning to rant on.
